Global Legal Counsel - Spotcap Global

 

Barbara Radon is the Global Legal Counsel for Spotcap, a multinational fintech lending business. In this role she works with local regulators and manages Spotcap’s legal and compliance obligations across five dramatically different regulatory environments. Barbara also provides legal advice on a range of topics including data protection, fintech regulation and investor relations. In fact, she played an integral role in executing Spotcap’s latest funding round and partnership with Heartland Bank. She has many years of experience in international law, having previously held an associate position at Noerr, an international law firm and is a regular speaker at conferences on topics relating to fintech, patents, trade secrets and merger control. Barbara holds a law degree from the University of Warsaw, complemented by Bachelor’s degrees in social sciences and linguistics as well as an LL.M. degree from the Munich Intellectual Property Law Cente (run in cooperation with i.a. Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition). Barbara will soon complete a PhD thesis on mergers and innovation at the Institute of Law Studies, Polish Academy of Sciences. She speaks Polish, English, German, Italian as well as some Spanish and Russian.
